Beard Trimmer : Panasonic ER430K Vacuum Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer, Gray

Panasonic ER430K Vacuum Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer, Gray
Panasonic Beard Trimmer
The Panasonic ER430K Vacuum Ear/Nose Trimmer is the ultimate personal grooming tool. Have you ever wondered where hair clippings go after they have been trimmed from your ear or nostrils? Some fall into the groomer but many remain right where you found them. They can fall out at inappropriate times or be inhaled. The ER430K uses a revolutionary vacuum system to whisk away cut hairs so that they remain out of sight. The sleek ergonomic design makes it easy to hold and position. The hypoallergenic blades on the ER430K are placed at a 60 degree angle so they cut cleanly and precisely without the pulling that can occur with a duller blade. It equipped comes with a mirrored cap to help locate stray hairs. The head rinses clean under running water. Operates on one double AA battery.

* Vacuum whisks away hair clippings
* Hypoallergenic 60 degree blade cuts cleanly without pulling
* Ergonomic design makes it easy to hold and position
* Head rinses clean for easy maintenance
* Mirrored cap helps you see stray hairs

Beard Trimmer

This review is from Beard Trimmer: Panasonic ER430K Vacuum Nose/Ear Hair Trimmer, Gray (Health and Beauty)
After 9 months of use, the trimmer began pulling hair rather than cutting. Keeping a fresh battery in the trimmer helped, but the blades have definitely dulled. Panasonic offers a replacement "blade block" assembly (WER416K1058) for $11.35 (plus $5.95 for shipping). Not really a great value given the price of a new unit and that I can get it shipped free with my Amazon Prime membership.

Pros:
- good sized
- easy to use
- trims nose well when new
- ok choice among limited alternatives

Cons:
- weak job of trimming ear hair - leaves visible stubble
- limited life span
- might best be considered a "disposable" device

Summary: Not sure I would by again. My scissors still work fine.
